Our role as the official representative of Hokuyo can help US customers in many ways.

• Providing technical support for current users of Hokuyo Laser Range Finder (LRF) products in the US

Technical support for US customers are getting quicker and better. Customers can contact Kirison via phone or e-mail to discuss issues or problems with Hokuyo products. Kirinson will also coordinate the sending of failed units back for repair. We can repair slightly-damaged LRF units locally. Kirinson has direct digital communication channels (voice, video, data) to the engineering department of Hokuyo in Osaka, Japan.

• Providing technical advice for new customers

By setting up Hokuyo’s technical representative office in the US, the technical support for LRF products will be faster comparing to the past. On-site demonstration is also possible so that customers can understand the capabilities and functions of our LRF. We can offer solutions for customers’ special applications.

• Providing technical consultation regarding potential LRF specialized products

Hokuyo engineering department has knowledgeable engineers in various fields, including analog/digital signals, microprocessor, mechanical and software. Hokuyo has been working actively with customers to customize Hokuyo standard LRF products according to customer specification. Hokuyo’s engineering department in Japan is working closely with Kirinson during the whole process of product development. Kirinson can provide detailed information of Hokuyo products as well as meet with customers to finalize specification for specialized products.

• Point of contact for US customers and businesses who want to communicate with Hokuyo Headquarters

Kirinson functions as the official technical representative and facilitate communication between the engineering team of Hokuyo and customers. Kirinson can also arrange meetings between the engineering team of Hokuyo and customers in the US for in-depth discussions.
